By the time he was 20 he found himself co-managing the then dilapidated Castle Hill Studios in his native north Wales, whose claim to fame is as the venue for the disastrous and aborted sessions for The Stone Roses’ Second Coming album.

Moving to Liverpool in 2000 under the guise of studying Sound Technology, Jon focussed most of his time in the following 7 years managing bands and running an independent record label, which gave him an interesting insight into the ins and outs of the music business.

He has now spent the past couple of years getting back to being more hands on, mainly working in the live arena, but also on occasion in the studio.
